Ski training on Vittjåkk mountain

Colonel lieutenant J Dé Jong practised skiing with his soldiers on Vittjåkk mountain the other day, in the best of weathers.

Colonel lieutenant J Dé Jong, head of the 1st marine infantry battalion, managed to find the best weather when scheduling the ski training on Vittjåkk:
-Great environment, and weather, said de Jong, who enjoys skiing.

Many of the soldiers were skiing for the first time and with that in mind they were very good! They practised "Telemark-skiiing", stopping, "lappkast" and many other exercises and no one seemed to struggle learning the basics of skiing. The mood was great! 


Great slopes and beautiful weather made the exercise into a pleasure.
